Warrington will be unlikely to keep French and Field at bay. Wigan are too quick for any side tjis year. Warrington's only hope is if they control the forward line and close down French and Field quickly.

Wigan by 2 scores for me.

The one team who have similar pace is Warrington Dufty, Ashton and Thewlis are just as quick as Wigan's pace men. It's evenly matched all across from 1 to 17 so a bit a magic or a mistake could settle this. Too close to call but hoping for a wire win.

Finger's crossed Warrington. It should be one hell of a game with the rested players coming back for both teams. I'll be at Wembley screaming for the "Wire" all the way. Come on boys. Oh Warry,Warry. This should be a corker for a neutral.

Don't think Thewlis is anywhere near the four others you refer to.  Tom Johnstone chased him down quite easily a couple of weeks back.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

One of those games where I really don't care who wins, I just want it to be a good spectacle. I think Wigan will probably have a bit too much and will win by a couple of tries.

On Saturday we pay our respects to a remarkable player and human being Rob Burrow, we also should spare a thought for 3 players who played in the 1990 Warrington/Wigan final who are no longer with us, Des Drummond, Mike Gregory and Paul Derbyshire. Mike and Paul Wiganers who represented Warrington and succumbed to this terrible disease. I will give a thought to these three as well as Rob.

I`ve a feeling Keighran being out could come back to bite Wigan because of his goalkicking. I expect smith will now take that role but he`s nowhere near as reliable.

Wigan as usual.

He's very hit and miss (and I don't mean that as a joke!)

Goes through patches where he looks like amazing be then his head goes and he misses a stream of easier ones

I’d be confident against any other side bar Wire at the minute. The way Burgess has them playing and competing is worrying. It’s a flip of a coin job.

Yeah he seems to kick on confidence, misses 1 or 2 and he`ll struggle for the rest. Not a bad replacement to have though.

Agreed...his in play kicking is up there with the best in SL ..less time to think

I'd hate to have kicked....it was bad enough being a pace bowler in cricket too much time to think

Very nervous about this game! Its both teams to win or lose. Whichever team makes the right calls on the day, and reacts to the occasion will win through. My team Warrington - my fear is a number of players dont have the big occasion match experience when making the right calls like taking the tackle instead of forcing the pass. We have to have a strong kicking game (one which doesn't just put the ball into full back and wingers hands on the 5th tackle). Wigan will aim to disrupt the speed of the ruck for Wire. If they do that we will struggle.

Wigan have the likes of Bevan French who can make something happen out of nothing.

However - I'm firmly on the fence as to which team will win on the day. Hopefully should be an outstanding game.

I made some negligent life choices which mean I am away for this one. I think it is finely balanced.

Contrary to popular opinion I haven't commented on a Wigan game for ages and I think this Wigan side have a lot to admire in terms of the way their coach conducts himself and their style of play. On the other hand I think we (Warrington) have a side we can be proud of at the moment so I'm staying optimistic.

Hope the lucky buggers who actually checked the calendar and are going tomorrow enjoy the weekend.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
