Think Matt Ellis said he was hoping to accommodate 9000 next season and make a decision on improvements for 2026 dependant on 2025 crowds.  I think we'll be lucky to achieve anywhere near 9k looking at the slow take up of season tickets

Where have you got slow take up from , the east and north are virtually sold out. Thats 6000!

Why are Trinity fans having melt downs when we have sold more ST than last year and it’s only November, weird.

East is only approaching costly half sold so far. Maybe couple hundred more.

The latest update from the club last Tuesday was 3000 STs sold in total.  I would have expected any further reasonable increases to the total since to have been publicised.  I'm presuming their isn't much to crow about.

If the vague statement that the North Stand (capacity 3,500?) is down to the "last few" tickets it would suggest that not many have renewed in the rest of the ground or that we've had a massive spurt that's untypically not being publicised.

I rake it you have not been on the Trinity app then to check sales in the East Stand? Block one is for away fans predominantly, blocks 3 and 5 have sparse seats available, block 4 hasn't been released as that area is for the upgrade hospitality packages, leaving 2,6 and 7 where there are plenty of seats available. Also Foxes Bar was ended so season ticket holders in there have the opportunity to select elsewhere probably the reason why the North Stand is limited and also last season they increased the capacity but retained the extra for day tickets I suspect that will be the case this coming season. I am sure the club know what they are doing drip feeding numbers with plenty of opportunities coming up th drive sales for instance shirt launch Christmas etc.

Edit club have just released updated figure of 3500

Nearer 46,000 DM, but still agree with you, has somebody said not to long ago evening games for cross pennine fans reduces the attendances, I have always said that if Leigh ever get 7000 home fans in attendance that is huge being over 15% of local populas, who apart from Cas gets anywhere near that?

Agree, for most of my watching the game in the last 40 years Leigh have struggled along on circa 3,000 fans tbh.  The progress even in the last 2 years has been absolutely amazing and great to see.   Think you’re very close to your ceiling though just again due to the size of the area.

What is the ceiling?

HKR have announced we have sold 9,000 memberships sold for 2025.

Never did I think we would achieve such figures.

Is that, effectively, every game sold out?

Just the last few hundred seats for sale in the new East Stand temporary extension at Rovers now, only about 10 or 15 single seats anywhere else in the ground.

Once they're gone I think the club shuts up shop on season tickets, and all you're left with is paying on the day in The Well... and that's full of very odd characters so I wouldn't advise it 🤣

Wakefield will end up somewhere in the mid 5,000 to 6,000 imo. Thats nothing short of phenomenal for a club that sold just 1,700 a season during its 25 year Superleague stay.

While some might say a successful Championship season and winning almost all their games is the driving force behind the huge increase, I’d disagree. Of course that part of it but the major difference is the new ownership and their massive yet realistic ambitions to make Wakefield Trinity one of the top clubs in the game. Importantly for the non believers their ambitions for the team can actually be seen so they can’t be accused of being “all talk” The quality of the coaching staff and their recruitment but also in their investment in facilities for the players. Decompression chambers, ice rooms/baths, Premier League standard changing rooms, players suite, 2 quality full time chefs ensuring the players eat well and the hunt is on for land on which to build a state of the art training & academy facility. Then there’s the unimaginable improvements to the stadium with more to come over the next couple of years.

Thats what’s driving the season ticket sales at Wakefield, heaven knows what will happen if we become competitive on the field
