Just Browny
We don't have that many matches on C4 so it is a shame to have a mismatch. I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly. dkw
It's a shame there's only 1 match a month on C4 from now, I wonder what chances there are of getting more on after a couple of very good showings.
Tommygilf
So we know the first 4 grounds Channel 4 are showing/have shown will be Leeds, Hull FC, Wire and Wigan. Got to think St Helens will be another. Definitely a best foot forward approach.

Desert Skipper
Next match on the 19th March in Cheshire. Sometimes the weather can be warm at the end of March. Let’s hope it’s at least dry and mild, as it will be two teams who like to play open rugby and it will be an excellent opportunity to showcase the sport. Whizzy Rascal will no doubt be factored in to the TV presentation too. A million views on Twitter already. 1 “There is perhaps no better a demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world.” Carl Sagan
paulwalker71
Another good presentation, but I'm not a fan of Leon Pryce doing the colour commentary He was fine last week doing the punditry, but he mumbles too much into the mic to be a good colour commentator. In fact, he was so incomprehensible most of the time, I couldn't tell you if what he said made any sense! 3

No one doubts though that there is more to it than just kicking a ball and they push the tactical side of it.

All good fun, but people who take politics far too seriously will almost certainly find an excuse to be "outraged" by some of it. But Adam's also a player of Rugby League, and you may well enjoy this documentary he made about PDRL: https://www.channel4.com/programmes/adam-hills-take-his-legs 4 2 Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. People watching channel 4 wanting to watch more rugby league which is behind a pay wall. Suppose its similar to sky showing boxing on their channels but then showing the big fights as ppv I know quite a few people who get now tv passes just for the RL and this is also a good avenue into this part of sky Edited February 19, 2022 by yipyee

You are a bit soft about any negative opinion. Just because somebody doesn't like Baz and Tez doesn't mean they are always negative. And you can dislike commentators without having to come up with a credible replacement. I can think RL is the best game in the world but think Baz and Tez are horrendous pundits. I'm not sure why you get your knickers in such a twist about it.

That's just a feature of RL I'm afraid, and we shouldn't be afraid of it. Every game can't be a classic nor should we expect it to be. There are currently 6 Premier League games at half time and 5 of them are 0-0, I doubt any of those clubs are the slightest bit bothered about the product. 2 A Widnesian in Ireland blog What is the best system for Super League?
