dkw Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 (edited) Just been told about him passing away, such sad news, everyone hoped he could fight until a way to help him was found I'm sure. RIP the little big man. Edited June 2, 2024 by dkw 3
David Shepherd Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Genuinely one of the nicest blokes you could ever wish to meet and brave beyond words these last few years. RIP Rob. 7
Just Browny Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 What an inspirational human being. RIP Rob. 5 I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
Fevrover Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 A credit to the sport and his wonderful family, RIP Rob you will never be forgotten. 4
Phil Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 The word legend is bandied around far too often but in this instance it’s spot on. What an inspirational character 7 "Freedom without socialism is privilege and injustice, socialism without freedom is slavery and brutality" - Mikhail Bakunin
Waynebennettswinger Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 (edited) Broke my teams hearts (and my own) a few times but nothing but admiration for this man’s courage on the field and off it. So very sad. RIP Edited June 2, 2024 by Waynebennettswinger 2

Bedford Roughyed Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 RIP, 41 is nothing. 2 With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Northern Eel Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Knowing the day was always going to come makes it no easier to manage the loss of such an inspirational hero, both on the field and off, in his horrific battle against MND and his unerring work to bring this terrible disease into the public light. Rest in peace Rob, and our thoughts are with his beautiful family at this very sad time. 2
