I think it’ll be closer than a lot of people think this one. Having Shorrocks at 6 has been great for a couple of backs to the wall games and we’ve defended our way to 2 cracking wins but this should be more open and we don’t look like we’ve got loads of points in us minus Field and Cust (and 3rd choice 6 in Hampshire).

Wigan to win but nothing like the 60 pointer earlier in the season. I’ll go by about 20.

I hope there is no complacency going into this game as we can't assume Wigan will win this game let alone put a big score on Wakefield. They must respect the opposition.

Well that something because I have lost respect for some of them.

If Wigan win this, then the first part of the season has been a good one. Wakefield have beaten us plenty of times, and have nothing to lose, so we will need to be on our game here. After this we get a purple of free weeks, which should help. I think we will win, but we can’t afford any complacency.

7 people have voted for Wakefield.

7 more than I expected, and 7 more than the number of points Wakey are likely to score.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

Leigh put 32 past us at home, Wigan will top the 60 they put on us earlier in the season. The question is, can we score a try.

Mid first half on Sunday I stated that the only way Leigh will conceed a try is if they miss a one on one tackle, such was the very predictable Wakefield attacking methods that they employed, a repeat of those methods and the answer to your question is No you won't score a try.

See this is what i don't get, they know they can't score tries so surely just go for lots of drop goals instead, scoring 1 is surely better than scoring 0?

Maybe they're ###### at that too!

You forgot your usual disparaging name twist?
