What kind of RL club has a pot hole at their training ground large enough for a rugby player to fall down? Is this a joke?

Update - B&Q have delivered 4 tons of sand ordered by SRD, but SRD have only sent payment for 3 tons.

It’s obvious not great but a massive exaggeration. I go to the gym on the stadium and it’s more like a little rivet. Nothing to make a big deal of

I'm not 100% sure but I seem to remember that it was witnessing a similar incident at the old Watersheddings ground that inspired Jules Verne to write Journey to the Center of the Earth.
