Jeez that's a poor following from us.

A couple of mates went i laughed at them when they bought tickets i was still laughing when they phoned me up on the way back home. We are the dullest club in RL.

I can only begin to imagine the stick we'd get for posting out we were taking less than we'd normally do for an away game, in our case it would be 'we've sold 45'!

Do Saints do this for every away game? if so it seems strange they're putting a post out 'celebrating' what is a pretty awful away following for them.

I'd have expected a minimum of 1,000 on a Sunday afternoon, have their fans ditched them that quickly after a couple of barren seasons?

I haven’t ditched them Daz but i stopped following them away after the walloping by HKR at their place. We are so predictable and dull it was enough for myself to not bother. I can’t see the side improving until wellens is sacked.

That’s not good for a Sunday afternoon again a club like saints!

It's awful even by our standards, though it wasn't that long ago Saints would bring almost that amount on their own on a Sunday afternoon, saying that it's only about 200 less than Salford got against Wigan, maybe the 'elite' teams are no longer the pull they used to be?.

Loop games have a lot to answer for on that one

Have they all jumped ship to Wakey?

No chance, a lot disillusioned with the game now with very little chance of promotion. Concessions went up to £20 and that as definitely put a lot off. It's £1 5 again till end of season but it's too little too late iam afraid. Oldham's crowds will be up because of their success, will that last 2 or 3 seasons? Hopefully it will for them but RL is definitely not prospering these days. Look at the attendance at Huddersfield  v Saints, hardly mind blowing.

Fev ‘fans’ need to decide if they want a club as that attendance won’t pay for a fraction of that team - which is very capable of going all the way to the GF imo

Disillusioned with Rugby League because Fev are unlikely to be in SL?

Ultimately, UK RL cannot prosper until going to a game is considered an enjoyable and affordable experience. Regardless of divisional structures, play-off systems, team form, etc.

Biggest obstacle is crowd traditions more equipped for anger-management than pleasure. Anger with officials, players, coach, board, whoever avails. Seething subsides, replaced by disillusion.
