Apollo Perelini has sent a tweet this morning that appears to be bringing  very very sad news:

Saddest news to hear. We started primary school together and took our rugby journey to the UK.

@Saints1890

for me and

@WiganWarriorsRL

for you my brother. RiL my dearest brother Inga(the winger) Tuigamala

Terrible news. One of the biggest stars in a Wigan team of stars. By all accounts a very nice bloke too.

I met him. Got his autograph. He wrote, God bless. Such a lovely bloke. Awful news.

Going to assume this was posted on the wrong thread?

Very sad news indeed, an iconic figure in the sport. The first outside back whose power and strength were his biggest attributes.

Just to clarify , that was a sad irony . To get up and see what’s happening in the world , now this .  Just awful

A player you just loved to watch no matter what shirt he had on

Agreed. One of the few players that I didn't care who he played for, I just used to love watching him play.

RIP Inga the winger.

Jam Eater  1.(noun. jam eeter) A Resident of Whitehaven or Workington. Offensive.  It is now a term of abuse that both towns of West Cumbria use for each other especially at Workington/Whitehaven rugby league derby matches.

So very, very sad. He was one of the greatest in an era of great players. Fair winds and calm seas big man.

Just saw this on the Guardian website. Really Sad. Great player. Never got the real recognition Internationally for his RL playing ability. Should have played for NZ. RIP Inga.

Very sad news, he was a real star when I started watching and 52 is no age. RIP.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Totally shocked. Very sad news RIP big fella.

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

Think he was a centre in a game I watched up here , but to say he was a handful was an understatement. Just the complete package
