So tackling from the side should be outlawed?

As long as there's a wrap, it should be fine. These two from Asiata were more blocks with the shoulder - although I didn't see the Paasi one as clearly.

It showed how much Leigh wanted it. Understandable to do anything to hold out on one's line.

Interested in Saints fans views of Dodd.  Not just today but in general.  Saints obviously on tv a lot and every time i see him play he looks like Championship level half back playing in SL.  Always looks way out of his depth and same again today, absolutely clueless.

Am i being harsh ?  Saints fans see him play much more than me but i really dont rate him at all.

Delighted for the Leigh contingent on here

Fully deserved and great to have a different name in the Final. Hopefully, HKR will make it a final of underdogs, which will be refreshing after the usual Wigan, Saints, Leeds and Wire for the past few years.

Never been more pleased to get a prediction wrong! Always enjoyed my trips to Hilton Park with Fulham and drinkies in the Leigh East clubhouse before and after the game and I'm one of those weird people who don't mind the LSV. Now to tomorrow to see who you're going to beat at Wembley.

Still Happy and still emotional. Unusual to state that a defence won the game but it did today. A good few crucial tackles and Leigh’s fluency clunky.

Fair play to the Saints fans that have wished us well. And to be honest, the Wigan fans that would also.

Just proves how Rugby League has grown from the dark depth from the 80’s. Nothing wrong with rivalry. But let’s be honest, should Leigh be in the CC final ?

I can’t believe I’m going to Wembley in my lifetime. What a story, win, lose or draw im gonna enjoy it, we have come a long way from being relegated in 2021 and the feelings that go with it.

Why shouldn't they be in cc final ? What a odd question.

Given they won the semi-final, I’m going to go with “yes”

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

Just watched it on catch up. What a game, what a result. Chuffed for Leigh. They've got to Wembley, good on them. At least it'll make a change from the usual suspects.

Credit to Leigh, the better team won.

Same problems in attack for Saints that cost us the game.

Hope John Asiata enjoys Club Wembley, mind.

Pleased for Harry,  Bugman, the Sweaty one and the rest on here. Well done Leigh.
