Wasn't sure of this week's fixtures so googled. Result below.

Now, I probably google a lot more women's soccer than most on here so I'd be interested in knowing what other people get as their main return when they ask similar - is it down to google knowing me a bit and guessing, or is it what it now believes most Super League searchers want?

I get a table of SL (rugby league) games and their KO times in Eastern Australian Time.

The next result is the SL home page.

All UK rugby league results for me!

It takes me to Betfred super league. You are probably right….i have never googled anything about womens footy.

I once got in bother at work when in advance of a business trip to berne, switzerland i googled the local team, Young Boys of Berne!  The hole just got bigger as I searched for directions to their stadium, the Wankdorf!!
 

Ever since then I have received all sorts of trash on my google searches.

I don't remember ever Googling 'super league' in any context.

Yeah I get the rugby.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I've never searched for women's football - for me the Google part of the page (with fixtures) was the women's football, but all the website links are RL.

This must be a recent change - I'm pretty sure I'll have done the same search within the last month and got the RL fixtures.

Interesting - and thanks for the replies!

I just ran it again on a work laptop that is “fresh” each time you use it. First thing was the block of soccer fixtures - followed by every link being for RL.

No conclusions but may strengthen the hand of those who think a name change for the top tier would be beneficial.

I get the WSL graphic link but first listed link below is SL fixtures listed on Sky, then the SL site fixture listings and then rugby links for SL all the way.

I never search for WSL or soccer fixtures.

Mine goes to RL, but i do google RL things frequently.

 

I do have slightly similar issue on Twitter/X which I'm not sure if anyone else has, but I am completely unable to find the Salford official twitter account via the search function. I'm definitely not blocked(before anyone says anything), I've never interacted with their account but I do follow them and can access the page if i do it indirectly, such as clicking their handle either in a players bio or on a Sky/SL post.

 

Even if i copy and paste the handle from the profile to the search box, it won't show up which is very odd.

I tried Bing to search for Super League 

The first hit was how to make a Cheese soufflé, then some news about Peru officially closing Machu Picchu.

After that it became less relevant.
