Cas Vegas - sad news

Recommended Posts

All, I have seen posts all over facebook announcing the death of Paul Durant (Cas Vegas) due to a Heart attack after organ failure.

He was an incredibly well liked member of this forum and will be sadly missed

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Very sad news indeed, he was if I may say it, Ace.

Brilliant post - had a beer with him in Perpignan and if I'd have known that was the last time I'd see him I'd have held him tight.

One of the good guys who will be missed by many 😞

Can you find out from the family if they're looking to raise funds for a charity in his name? I'd like to donate if they are.

I'll see what I can find out from his brother- that's very kind

If he had one major failing it was that he laughed at my jokes. He shouldn't have done that. I'd have gone away ages ago otherwise.

Really sorry to hear this news. As you say, one of the good guys.

That's really sad. I had plenty of banter with him over the years on here but never met him in real life.

Another one of the family here gone.

I never met him, but enjoyed his presence on the board very much. He'll be badly missed. Thanks for letting us know.

Bloody awful news, really shocked by it, one of the genuine funny guys on here.

Will be sorely missed as he was...well, I don't need to say it do I?

Sad news indeed. Cas Vegas was already a well established contributor when I joined this forum. I never met him, but enjoyed his posts. He came over as a genuinely nice chap.
