Congratulations to Hunslet. What a game. Enjoy your celebrations and promotion.

Great boost for League 1 when you think how close Midland in 5th came to beating Hunslet (4th) and that Workington and North Wales were not too far off the former. It can help a club re-group too as Bradford and York (for example) were there not so long ago.

What a game, I have seen a lot of games this season, SL, NRL, Championship and L1 and for entertainment and excitement and quite a bit of skill this game is up there with them, well done to both teams for a great game, congratulations to Hunslet and commiserations to Swinton.

So glad to be proved wrong and in the end Hunslet fully deserved the win.A play off game with promotion at stake proper rugby league. Not like SL where clubs mark their own homework to maintain their place.Proper grass roots rugby this game and i loved it and i have been watching rugby league 70 years. And the bonus i may go to Hunslet next season to see Fev play.My old mate Alan Marchant will be looking down and saying well done lads he played with Fev Halifax And Hunslet a very good no nonsense scrum half.

Third level coverage for a third level game. The TV version of local radio.

Exciting though, and close game. Hunslet win, and deservedly so.

So you missed Barrie Mac and Robbie Hunter-Paul? You really think that they would have added anything to the coverage?

Well done to Lewis Smith and Paul Rowley.

A good pair on commentary.

I thought the camera work ,sound and coverage beat SKY hands down. The Sportsman backed by Fred Done do not shy away from the minor leagues.Bookmakers get a bad press and many deserve it but Fred built his empire from nowt with his family working in the shops and even doing the cleaning in the early days.

Glad for Hunslet, but they will be behind in player recruitment and think they will struggle next season. It's a big gap between L1 and Championship.

Fantastic game and the best commentary I've heard all year. No meandering off into personal anecdotes, just concentrating on the magnificent play and players.

Great entertainment for a Sunday night. Would be good if they had a game on Sunday night every week.

Sure they did a couple of seasons back but the clubs moaned because it affected attendances 😕

What an amazing month it's been as a Hunslet supporter

Looking back,we so nearly failed to beat a good Midlands team in the 1st elimiminator.

Since then it's just got better and better.

Under no illusions about the challenge next year but,for now, enjoying the win.

Commiserations to Swinton. You played well and,on another day,may well have won the game. I think you'll soon be going back up.

Congratulations Hunslet (through gritted Lancashire teeth)…an amazing run of play off victories. No-one can say you havent earned it.

Good luck next season.

Great game. I’m sure the other Championship clubs will be pleased. Cannon fodder for them next year

I imagine there's at least one championship club that will be glad to not be on the receiving end of Alan Kilshaw's coaching methods. RFL tribunal hearing is this week I believe.

Well done Hunslet, really didn't expect that result. On this showing, they'll certainly go better than Dewsbury did this year.

Congratulations Hunslet. Well deserved for such a great club with some fantastic people involved including supporters, players and board members. Best game of the weekend for me. Entertainment, jeopardy, passion, commitment and no shortage of skill. RL at it's best.

Let’s be honest. which of the 2 finals did everyone like best!? The Grand final should be re-named the Grind final.

Only 1 try in each of the last 2 finals with play mainly in the middle quarters.

Amazing scenes with Hunslet players with scarves aloft on top of the dug-out in celebration with the fans.

You have to feel for Swinton, but an amazing effort by Hunslet.

The most exciting game of the weekend.

Cheers to The Sportsman for the classy and enjoyable coverage, and to both sets of players for an amazing game.

The lead comm is the best RL commentator I have heard in quite a while. Sky and the Beeb should tell their callers to have a listen to him.

No chance, he is a full time employee of Betfred.
